Last Friday night was such big fun at Roca Verde - great music, excellent food, fun people - that we'll be there again this Friday, Sept 20th! Ben Orton (guitar, vocals), Nancy Buchan (5 string violin, vocals) and Richard Abraham (percussion) have been pulling out new and different songs every week - some favorites, some obscure, some original - don't let a little rain keep you from getting yourself to the beach and hearing these professionals do what they clearly love to do! December 21 2013 - SAVE THE DATE and contact us if you would like to register a boat to participate in the parade.
What is it: It's a parade in the river of boats decorated with Christmas Lights.
On the day of the event, tickets will be available for 1000 colones if
you would like to ride in one of the boats in the parade, or just find a
spot along the river to watch the parade! The best decorated boats
earn a prize!
If you have a boat of any size and would like to participate in the event, its 10mil colones to sign up (by Dec 1st please). The boats will travel from the Piccola (up the Estero Azul canal) to the town of Sierpe.. about 2km total.

Created at a grassroots level in the rural community of Canaan de Rivas, our fine-flavored organic cocoa beans are processed carefully in small batches, giving us a real advantage in creating the finest, most complex taste and highest quality for our products. Our chocolate flavours and recipes are evolving all the time. No two batches of the same recipe are exactly the same. The variety of herbs, spices, fruits, nuts and seeds is somewhat seasonal.
